I don't know if I'm wrong or right but I think it is to do with safety etc, i.e staff ratio, risk assessments....has anyone else got any ideas?

Yes you are right its all to do
the legal and regulatory requirements which CQC inspect. such as the state of the environment eg decor, size of rooms, communual areas, facilities, temperature, accessibility, staff ratio, infection control etc. All based on the Fundamental Standards- Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.
Its explaining how the impact can be positive such as promotes a safe environment, personal space etc. There may be some negative impacts which should also be evaluated. Its good to reflect on where you work and how you see the positives and negatives in relation to group living
