Hey all, Im pleased I have stumbled across this forum and would appreciate some help. Im nervous my questions are really stupid but ill ask anyway. On 12th August Im commencing my assessors award with a training provider. I am doing it myself and not through work as it was deemed unnecesary but for me i really wanted to move forward in my career.

I am having t travel to Manchester to do the course and them I am being assessed there after as i gather my portfolio of evidence.

I need some help with the following, Finding your 2 candidates, how did you go about doing this?
Do they or there employer need to register them on the NVQ, or do i help with this?
Who do they register with?
What materials do I need to assess them? I.E when i did my NVQ's my assessor gave me all the units ect as hand outs and i built up a folder, so how do i do this?

basically my questions aren't about the A1 as such its about getting started.
