i currently have 73 health and social care, and its hard work believe me as there not all in the same areas, 30 to 50 sounds better, especially if its apprentiships and you have the full works to do. :-(:-

Hello kirstgnt,
please can you help me.I am a support worker with NVQ 3 in health and social care.
I just enrolled for Assessing Vocational Assessment course with Leeds city college this sept.
Have attended the first class chat with the tutor of the course and was given an assignment to get a mentor who I will work shadow as a qualified assessor in my area of competency which is in Health and Social care. I have contact my NVQ assessor to be my mentor but she said she is busy and can't help.
Please can you help as a qualified assessor to volunteer to be my mentor .I will appreciate it if you can be of help to me as this course will enhance my career in the health and social care industry. and am willing to help with your extra work load mentioned in your forum.

73 that sounds crazy!
I've only been my my first assessor job over a month and have 31. Which i'm finding hard as I "inherited" them from a previous assessor who left so I have to try and figure out where she left them at what needs to be done, argh!
It's hard, especially when people don't do their work.

sophie18489,

I'm in a similar situation, I inherited half from previous assessor who didn't mark their work or give feedback, and half from a training provider who went into liquidation, total of 38 but already put 12 learners through in 6months. It is really hard.... but we might be able to help each other

76 learners is a recipe for disaster, you must be exhausted kirstygnt!
