Hi. I'm new on here as i have recently got my TAQA award in health and social care. I would really like to get started with assessing but finding it difficult to find work for new a assessor. I am now thinking of going freelance if i can't find an employer to see the potential in me and give me a chance. If anyone out there can give me some pointers i would be grateful as at the moment i just feel like i'm wasting this qualification. Thanks for any help.

Hello,
There is work available in most areas. Try looking on F.E. site, sorry haven't got full address.
You could also try direct approaches to training providers.
It may be helpful if you look into working towards PTTLS award.

Does anyone knows if tech cert assignments needs to be gridded via tech cert standards or can go straight to diploma as it looks the same (C&G)?
