After completing NVQ's I went on to do the A1 award because I was told there was a desperate need for assessors, well I have been trying for over 9 months and I cant find a job anywhere. Obviously there is not a shortage for assessors in Health and Social care.

Hi springador, I registered on www.nvqjobs.com a while ago and get emails almost every day on jobs for assessors. Give it a go and see how you get on Good luck Katrina

Thanks Katrina, I have registered with them before but there does not seem to be such a demand in the Cambs area for NVQ assessors.

Hi, have you also tried www.fecareers.co.uk? It may also be worth sending your CV to local colleges and training providers? Let us know how you get on Katrina

I have sent my CV to just about every college in a 20 mile radius but they dont want NVQ assessors for health and social care. There must be alot of assessors in this area, demand is not high.
