im stuck on Q11, which is 'how and where to access information and support that can inform your practice relating to valuing and respecting people, taking account of their views and preferences and protecting them from danger harm and abuse?'

Any help would be appreciated, im not even sure if by it sayin 'my practise', does that mean my office? Im a community care assistant. Cheers

Where could you access information and support that could inform your practice on how to protect from danger, harm or abuse?

You will be able find training courses available in you local area, all Social Services departments provide training by their specialist teams, many private agencies with specialist knowledge such as the NSPCC and Action on Elder Abuse produce very useful training materials and publications.
Your supervisor or manager will be able to advise you about the best way to find information and you should choose a way that is easiest for you to learn, you may prefer to attend training courses, read books or watch training videos. Your manager should have policies on abuse and whistle blowing in place in order for you to follow to enable you to protect individuals from danger harm or abuse.
