Have a look at your training. These topics were probably covered in your Induction training and in training you received on Health and Safety.
Health and safety is usually one of the first subjects covered when you start a job as, though it is a bit tedious, it is vital to the safety of your service users and yourself. If you have not had training then ask for it without delay, speak to the forperson designated Health and Safety in your workplace
