Hi, I'm unsure what unit/question this relates to. Suggestions are: you have a duty of care to the individual you are supporting, it is neglectful to do nothing so this relates to safeguarding, individual may have communication difficulties so may not be able to inform you themselves, the individual may be unclear who could help them, they may have a high threshold of pain, they may be anxious about possible outcomes.
Other agencies could be: those involved in care, support & well-being of individual, e.g. community nurse, other service provider (care agency) physiotherapist, occupational therapist, speech & language therapist. |
