HSC 368-present individuals needs and preferences-How do I monitor and review the effectiveness of the systems used for clients to present their own views(KS11ab).....and......How do I ensure that all the candidates play an equal part in representing their views at this level.(KS17)

Even a sentence to point me in the right direction would be really appreciated.
Thanks for reading.

Hi,

E.g. You have arranged for an interpreter to help an individual to present their own views - you check on how it is working (monitor) by watching and talking to the individual and the interpreter, speaking to others involved etc. After an agreed period of time you meet with all involved and decide if changes need to be made.

KS11a How do you find out about and make decisions about the decision making forums... What is their purpose, who will be there, when will you be able to put forward the individual's views etc?

b How do you decide what you need to present?

hope that helps

Aunty Sue
