Hi Harry08

You don't mention whether you have completed any diploma's in HSC as it will help your situation. I am currently completing level 5, but am also looking for an Assessor's role. The qualification you need is TAQA which can be completed in 6 months approx. You can fund this yourself if you are able to by going to a training company to apply. Sometimes, they will try to place you in a permanent role upon qualifying or you can look for a Trainee position with a large training provider. However, it is not easy to get into as recruitment processes can consist of up to 3 interviews to search for the appropriate Trainee, otherwise they are left with a caseload of 40-50 learners if things go badly. Interested to hear how you get on. Good Luck and hope this helps.

Hi Harry,

It's great that you want to progress into a trainer role! To become a trainer in the care sector, you'll generally need a mix of qualifications, experience, and teaching skills.
