Spiritual well-being is an integral part of mental, emotional and physical health, this doesn't change for a person that is nearing the end of their life. Sprituality & religion are not necesarily the same thing & it means different things to different people, in a general sense it's what gives meaning, purpose & value to our lives & what makes our thoughts & beliefs personal to us. For an individual to have their spiritual needs met can mean they have the opportunity to reflect, resolve issues & find inner peace. |
