what area do you work in residential, community, hospital?...what do you use already, not being funny, but would not want to list things that you are already bored with.

I am an Health & Social care co-ordinator and assess level 2,3 & LSMA. I usally teach candidates that support elderly/mental health and some times learning disabilities. I have used examples of candidate accounts and assessor agree/disagree about the content, question and answers about role of IV & assessor and similar activities. What ideas have you got...
Thanks

Hi Carrie,
A few suggestions.
How about looking at the legislation requirements for some of the units and standardising what must be included?
Theories can be an interesting topic to discuss as the standards do not specifically ask for formal theories. Does this mean that informal theories developed in the setting about an individual can be claimed as evidence? What formal theories should be included? This is a good one for IV meetings and it gives the lead IV something to request clarity on from the EV.
I take it you already look at individual units and standardise how the 'NVQ speak' of certain PCs should be interpreted! This is especially useful for new assessors.
You could also as your assessors for suggestions from their own concerns.
Hope that helps
