Hi,

Im planning to open a care home in London. I dont know a great deal about care staff recruitment so please forgive my silly questions. I want to know about the process of recruiting care assistantants with and without the NVQ Level 2 qualification. I know of a number of recruitment agencies for care staff but they naturally have their own charges which I would like to avoid. How do the big care home groups recruit their care staff ? Is it through an agency ? I know that the NHS provides for the nursing care of care home residents but is the NHS responsible for supplying the registered nurses or do care homes have their own recruitment procedure for registered nurses ?

All replies will be much appreciated.

Thanx

impulse

Mediprospects UK Ltd is an OCR approved training agency. I regularly have groups of 12 successful trainees looking for care work in london. some of these students are quite brilliant and benefit from additional support offered by company.

Please feel free to reply for further info or see VFM for trainees:Help.

Hi, assuming you are still looking - I regularly have access to qualified care workers to L4/RMA. Also Assessors in the london area.

Good luck!

Mark

On Monday 7th 2008 some Care Staff said to my mum Jayne that she is better now.

Still bet you that if my mum went to get a Flat away from Care of her own occured they probably wouldn't let her again.

After mum trying to do so many times before makes us believe they won't let my mum get a Flat of own away from Care even though their saying she's better.

My mum now doesn't want to try getting a Flat of own away from Care again cause she's scared now that they'll call the Police on her again and dragging her back to Care like they did last time on August 21st 2007 and that will show that Care Staff aren't saying what they really mean if Care Staff do that to my mum after saying she's better now.
