Hello i need help with my NVQ wich i just started and im stuck with one of the questions. HOW YOU ALLOWED THE SERVICE USER TO EAT AS MUCH AS THEY WANTED AND TAKE AS LONG AS THEY NEEDED?

This is not a question but one of the performance criteria and needs to be covered in observation or in you providing an example of a real situation.
You could for example describe, in a reflective account about how you supported service users at mealtime, how you offered service users more food and how you didn't hurry them to finish meal.
If you write about what you actually do you will cover a lot of performance criteria and if you also say why you do something you will cover some knowledge as well.
Your assessor should explain this to you.

Hi, iv spent all afternoon trying to find help for new nvq level2 reflect on own work activities outcome1 question1 explain why reflecting on work activities is an important way to develop knowledge, skills and practice?
also outcome 3 question 3 agree a personal delelopment plan.....question contribute to drawing up own personal development plan

Help, I am doing the equivalent to an NVQ2 (they have changed them now) and don't understand the question relating to Physical development: Give a description of the stage, and provide an example of how this impacts on another aspect of development, can anyone shed light on this for me.

what happens to our bodies as we grow older and how does this affect our mobility etc. if you cannot walk you cannot get up and do things for yourself and may leave you depressed and unwilling to participate in other aspects of your life. this can lead to withdrawel and psychological development being impaired. if you cannot mix with other people and become withdrawn then speech can also be affected ,when you do not use something you lose it.

if you reflect on how well you have completed a task honestly then you will be able to see what you did well or not so well and then change your practice accordingly. thats what good carers do they acknowledge mistakes and learn from them. Everyone has something to learn and reflective practice is good for self development

you should have a development plan with your line manager where you agree what you need to learn and how you will do this. this may be agreed at appraisal or supervision ie training required, what training you would like to do and how you can access this. does not need to be formal training you learn from colleagues, reading and accessing the internet.
