Hi im doing unit 329 promote positive behaviour and I need help with this one please,

Explain how legislation, frameworks, codes of practice and policies relating to positive behaviour support are applied to own working environment.

Just need a little push in the right direction.

You need firstly to identify legislation etc. Use your own workplace's policies and procedures as part of this.
Only you can answer second part as it asks for your own working environment, each workplace is different and will generate different answer.

I am struggling to find legislation, frameworks and codes of practice. I have spent endless hours searching the internet but all I can find is for adults and children with learning disibilities. I work in a residential home for individuals with dementia and challenging behaviour. All I can think of is the Human Rights Act, Mental Health Act and its codes of practice but i dont know how these relate to positive behaviour support. Can anyone help me please

You should have access to GSCC Codes of Practice which sets out standards that should be applied in workplace. It also gives examples of how these standards could be applied. Use examples from your own workplace.
