Hi can someone give me some ideas on the topic I can use for my key skills presentation.it has to last between 5/7minutes!!!Please help!!!

Hi Lauren. The correct handwashing procedure is a good one as u do it so many times during ur day. Another good one is tissue viability. Hope this helps and good luck

Why not choose a topic round one of your optonal units, then it can be uses as eveudence in your QCF as well.

I was thinking of doing it on abuse??discussing all the different types and signs and symptoms??whst do you think??im so nervous!!

Hi Lauren07,

If you feel confident enough in the subject then its the right one for you. Everyone will be feeling nervous, its only natural. No one will be laughing at you any more than you will be at them. Just learn your topic and if you include a question and answer session it will take up some of the time.

Yes and you could include voluntary support groups etc.

Protection from Harassment Act 1997, Health and Safety Act, POVA, Data Protection Act, Human Rights and other equality/discrimination Acts.

How about discussing what makes certain individuals particularly vulnerable and how you can support and empower them. You could talk about person centred strategies etc.
