I have a problem with questions
'Explain how to work with others to review and prioritise own learning needs, professional interests and development opportunities'
'Explain how to work with others to agree own personal development plan'

I look after one client in his own home. My employer and work colleagues I see every 3 months or even less. I can say there is no "others' only me and my client.

Please, suggest what should I write?

Hello,
Who do you meet with to talk about how you're getting on with job, what training you need, who do you agree an appraisal with. You should have regular 1:1, supervision sessions so you could describe what happens at these.

Hi Steadysue,

Thank you for your suggestion. What if my company doesn't motivate to develop my skills?
I work for them for nine months. I have had one ad-hoc supervision with a care coordinator. Supervisor didn't suggest any training as I have completed all of offered by my company. I asked about Health and Social Care Diploma but nothing happened.
Now I do it off my own hand by learn direct. There are a lot of areas I would like to improve but my employer doesn't provide training for those I need to improve, assertiveness, communication etc...
The questions about development opportunities there are very tough as all I do off mine's own hand. I even don't have Personal Development Plan.

Hi,

http://www.cis-assessment.co.uk/docs/pdf/wb/St2_wkb.pdf

The link above may help with the assignment.

It seems like your employer isn't showing good practice, or fulfilling their responsibilities.
What does your contract state & is it possible for you to try discussing again the issues you've mentioned, if no luck is it possible for you to try your company's HR or Personnel dept?

Good luck

One of the formal ways of reflecting on your own practice and identifying strengths, weaknesses and areas for development is during training opportunities. On a course, or at a training day, aspects of your work practices and areas of knowledge that are new to you
will be discussed, and this will often open up avenues that you had not previously considered. This is one of the major benefits of making the most of all the training and education opportunities that are available to you.
