Difficulties getting employment because employers think that they might cause trouble or be off work too often. Neighbours or social groups fears that they are dangerous and unpredictable.

That sort of thing.

i have just started unit 4223-315 and i am struggling on where to find my research in to this unit....outcome 2 seems fine but outcome 1 is proving to be more challenging , i am especially stuck on explaining the key strengths and limitations of the psychiatric classification system!
any help would be appreciated.

Classification system I struggled on.

From what I make of the research i done is....

Strengths ....enables categorisation of
physcological disorders in a structured way
this is a tool for professionals to recognise disorders
And make diagnosis

Weaknesses.... structuring in this way makes black
or white diagnosis no grey area or overlap of symptoms
Doesnt take in to conderation othet factors ie depression because of chronic pain, social issues. Therefore could rule out multi disorders combined
or misdiagnose illness as everyone unique and have different
Symptoms. By using this Method delaying early intervention
individual loses faith In support given and mental health
deteriorates.
Please note this is my interpretation's I'm not qualified in mental
Health but have first hand and work experience. This work is my own and may
Only be used as guidance to help understand question 1.2 on unit 4222 619 HSC 2 2 . This is not to be copied word for word
