Hi,
I was hoping somebody could help me, i am a trainee assessor undertaking the TAQT assessors award. Could anybody tell me whether it is worth working as a trainee or wait untill i have the qualification. I am currently a volunteer trainee assessor but would like paid work. Also how much can you get if you are assessing QCF level 5

Hi Rachel,

I am looking for a freelance assessor and have been told that a trainee is fine, as long as you have access to a tutor. I wont be able to pay a lot as I am a small company just moving into NVQ's for a particular client who only needs about 11 candidates a year trained to NVQ3.

If you can help please get back to me at alex@ash1staidtraining.co.uk

regards

Alex
