Hi all

Just at a lost end with this question it is driving me nuts lol.

Here is the question I am stuck on -
Compare the roles of agencies and others who may be involved in raising awareness of health issues.

Any help much appreciated

Thanks
Adam

Hi adamt11 this will depend on what you chose as your health awareness topic. If you did healthy eating then it could be dieticians gp, public health bodies. Hope this helps

Hello, Thanks for the reply.
I haven't been told that I have to select a particular health issue just given the units and told to do them basically.

Many Thanks
Adam

I would speak to your assessor and ask them to explain what they are looking for. When I did the unit I chose stop smoking and looked at all the local and national agencies who could help, like GP stopped smoking advisers and websites. This made it easier to answer the question

Hello Adam

If your assessor has not given you a topic or you have decided to go ahead with answering in a generic way you could describe in writing the roles of health care professionals for example a dietician promoting healthy eating, speech and language therapist (re swallowing assessment), sexual health could include well man/woman clinics, etc.

Just a thought or two!

Regards

Suzi
