There are several ethical areas that can impact on individual rights v duty of care
Individual rights.
Think around the level and complexity of need.
The resources available to meet those needs.
The funding and cost of meeting the needs.
The duty of care aspects are the legal requirements that are to be met under the relevant legislation, depending upon the individuals age, diagnosis, long term prognosis etc.
