I forgot to mention that the provider wants me to pay £50 per learner's fee out of my money for another assessor to come and support me, is that normal? No mention of a IV

Hello,
As a trainee assessor it is usual for you to have some support from someone suitably qualified. This will usually be the IV who is assessing you.
It is not normal for you to have to pay, training provider should already be paying them. How often are you expected to pay this £50? Every time someone comes out to support you? Don't like the sound of that.

Hi Sue
Thanks again, is there such thing as a senior assessor? That's what I am told that I will need a senior to support me. My friend told he I am not a trainee because I have my qualification many years now it's only the experience I need which I am getting now. The £50 is taken from each learner's fee

Hello,
No, you can be an experienced assessor and I suppose providers can call you senior if they want. But there is not a separate qualification for 'senior' assessor.
Hope you find something suitable soon.
