A few pointers: Everyone has the basic human right to refuse treatment, therefore consent must be obtained before any treatment is carried out. Obtaining consent is also ethical and good practice. Consent can be given in different ways e.g. verbal, written etc. but it must be informed and voluntary and the individual must have the capacity to consent. Individual's preferences must be taken seriously. An individual may not be able to consent if they are unconscious or have severe mental illness.

Hello,
For question 3 you need to give a real example of what you did when someone was unable to give their consent. Was there an MCA in place, did you ask family, did you report to manager, what did you do?
