Hi ! Can anyone help with these questions please :

1.There may be times when you will need to support an individual to question or challenge
decisions made about them by others, give an example of when you may need to do this.

2.List what other ways you can support an individual's active patricipation.

3.Give an example of how and why adjustments to care and support might need to be made
when a mental health condition, dementia and learning disabilities is identified.

4.If we have a clear complains procedure, how will this reduce the likelihood of abuse
occurring ?

5.If you suspect an individual is being or has been subjected to abuse. What action would
you take following the whistle blowing policy?

6.Why is it important to share information with relevant agencies such as the Polices,
Social Services, CQC?

Hi,

Part of your role is to enable service users to be heard, listened to, and their preferences taken into account in all areas of their care and support. Choice and control, even where they lack capacity, is the goal for all. This is what this unit is about. Refer to your company policy and procedures to help you understand your role and responsibilities in this very important area of your work.

Regards,
Margaret @ W&P
