Hi Shona,

To gain your A1 award to become an assesor in health & social care you need to:
1. Work in the Care industry.
2. Be occupationly experienced & competent in the areas that you are assessing.

You need to enrol with a training organisation that delivers this award

To gain the award you will be assessing 2 candidates that are completing their Health & Social Care NVQ's.

I hope this helps, further information regarding the a1 award can be found here www.wandptraining.co.uk/a1_assessor.php

Good luck with completing your Level 3 in Care Award.

warm regards
