to do the assessors award and or the RMA you really need to meet certain criteria. Most good centres should assess candidates suitability for NVQ awards.

With assessors you need to be occupationally cometent (i.e. have an NVQ in care) and also relevant experience in the field.

To do RMA you need to be in a role such as deputy or manager post to do it. Otherwise you will find it hard to collect the evidence required,

In relation to your diploma, you could use it for acquired prior learning to help cover knowledge requirements. You would need to discuss this with an assessor as to how much it would cover. You would need to priduce original certificate for inspection and also a copy of syllabus at best.

Have a look at the standards for the RMA for example and see if you can collect evidence to meet the requirements say for B3, RM1 and C13.

Hope that is of some help.
