havent got the paper work but these i can remember these ; 3 How do you agree with the candidate how any difficulties or disputes during the assessment will be handled?

4. How would you apply any special arrangements to ensure the assessment is fair and whom would you get advice from?

5. How would you explain and resolve any inconsistencies in the evidence?

6. What potential difficulties are there in making safe, fair, valid and reliable assessment decisions and who would you approch for advice?

7. Wht procedures would you follow if the candidate disagreed with your assessment decisions?

8. How would you encourage the candidate to ask questions and get advice on your assessment decisions?

4. You would make sure you didnt discriminate against your candidate, e.g if they worked nights you would arrange a suitable time to do the assessment, or if they had any special needs you would make sure these needs were met,You would arrange this with their manager or get advice from the IV.

5. You would seek further evidence through questions or interviews with witness's

6. There may be difficulties in the workplace to prevent assessments etc, it may be time restraints or staff shortages preventing candidate meeting you and allowing enough time for assessment, you would seek advice from your centre IV.

7. Make sure the candidate is aware of the complaints procedure, speak to your IV

8. Through discussion and planning at meetings.

Hope this helps.

Hi lorraine

Sorry to say, these are NOT knowledge questions but PERFORMANCE CRITERIA. You cannot just answer these as questions, you must provide evidence that you have DONE it.

For instance Ai.1j, you would provide evidence that you have explained the complaints and appeals to you candidate through a copy of your visit record and a copy of the procedures that your candidate has signed.

Surely you don't let your candidates get away with treating their performance criteria as questions.

A bit more evidence required, I'm afraid.

Hi Lorraine,

I was also told to answer the questions by my assessor, I also had evidence in my portfolio to back up the questions, when I started with my candidates I explained the complaints procedure to them, they signed the forms to say they understood and I put copies in my folder, make sure you get the copies from your candidates and keep with your portfolio, you will have evidence to back up the questions in your assessment plans etc, it will all come together when you finalise so dont worry.
Dave is right when he say's they are pc's which is why you will have covered them in your assessments without realising, the questions will also fill any gaps.

Let me know if you need any help.
