I'm trying to prepare materials for unit 35 promote choice,well-being and protection for indiviuals,this seem's to cover so much and i don't know where to start!! can anyone help please

i have to plan an activity week for staff/carer that covers these things and i'm not sure how to incorporate all of these things for example legislations and laws on abuse,disability,sexual discrimination and others would be grateful for any ideas

Do you work in residential care? Look at www.csci.org.uk they have lots of information on this, also www.dh.gov.uk Good Luck

You can also do an account of an activity that you have organised, what the risk(s) were surrounding the service user, what you did about it to eliminate the risk (i,e, involvement of Occupational Therapists etc)

Abuse doesn't necessarily me being abused in the sense we automatically think, abuse can be us putting them in danger or at risk of danger, thus the above points counteract that.
