i used this site some time back when going through all my nvq's and it was so helpful. hence i've stuck my head back in again, so will pop in from time to time and help anyone out if needed, best thing to remember, as i'm sure alot of others on here will say, is the nvqs are not as hard as they look, if they were in plain english would be a whole lot easier.
they are just about things that you do every day, probably without even thinking. i've done care for 28 years and boy, have i seen some changes!!!!

too right, the pay is disgusting for what we do, why do we do it??????
evidently the nvq's are not in plain english as they are formetted by government bodies who have never done care work in their lives.

the level 3 is really not too bad, u must obviously be senior care to be on that one. just as with level 2, it's things you do every day, well level 3 take yourself a step higher, it's all about how you work with carers etc, how u as senior care help them in their daily work.
yes, its same as 2, very daunting to start, but once you start the first piece it'll all fall into place.
