hi. im just starting my nvq2, feeling worried about the wording of the questions, not easy to understand them. any ideas as to which topics i should choose to do. ive got the nvq level 2 health & social care book and nvq 2 care.

Hi carol it depends who you are caring for whch units will be most suitable, speak to your assessor about the option units and how best to collect evidence. You can always post specific questions on this forum when you know the units you are doing. Good luck Katrina

hi katrina, thanks, im doing domicillary care for people in their own homes. does any body else agree that the wording of the questions are a bit difficult to understand what they are actually asking for. im only just starting nvq2, i dread doing the 3. this is a brilliant site, thanks to anyone who can help me when i need it, in advance thanks.

Hi carol, yes you are right about the wording, it is really long winded but once you get into it things will become clearer. Have you met your assessor yet and agreed the assessment plan, as this will tell you what evidence you need to collect and when you will be observed by your assessor? Katrina

the wording is terreible. Ive just started with nvq 2 to. ive met my assesor but when i come home its still hard to do im now on unit 2 and dont even now how to start

Hi Peggy, what is unit 2 about? Your assessor should have told you about when they will observe you at work to collect evidence for the performance criteria and what work you need to do to show your understanding of care work. Each unit has a number and title begiinning HSC 21 or 22 etc, which are yu working on at the moment? Katrina

I have just done nvq2 and now doing 3 and the wording is worse in 3 than 2 why it cant be written in plain English is beyond me

hi katrina it says unit 2 support the care, protection and well being of individuals in a health and social care settings i thing it has to do with hsc 24 is that possible?
