Dear All,
I have this question from my assessor and it says:
How are the range of services provided by the organisation you work for contributes to the broader provision in your locality? The services provided by my organisation are, meals, haridressing, laundry, medical and nursing care, staff escort, personal telephones. I am doing NVQ 3 Health and Social Care Adults.

Thank you all.

Ethel

Take a holistic view on this.

The client is in the centre - i.e. person centred approach

you have the services that the home provides but what other services are on offer?

Examples: hospital, GP, shops, churches, cinema, travel agent.

You provide a service but they require access to other services to meet needs as outlined in their care plans if that makes sense. You help support access and use of these services.

Thanks a lot James, it does make sense and I appreciate your contribution.

Bye for now.
