Hi michelle,

Start with a bit of information about the individual - gender, age, family etc. then look at the PCs and try to address each one in your account.

Hope that helps

Hi michelle,

Level 3 can lead to specialising in whatever area you want to work in. I've known several people who have gone on to nurse training and others who have become care home managers. What counts is working experience plus training. If you are offered courses or work opportunities that will lead to what you want go for it!

Strange as it may seem I never did an NVQ! I followed an academic route may years ago. I went on to teaching, assessing and IVing and became the co-ordinator for NVQ Early Years but always continued to work in care also.

I tried to retire but was asked to help out with a bit of IVing on the CCYP and now I have a number of candidates to assess also - just couldn't leave it alone!

You never know where life will take you. Good luck in whatever you choose.

Im finding this unit more difficult to find the relevant information as this unit is not supprted by the Yvonne Nolan books, Can anyone suggest any other books. I have lots of books hired from the library but ot take ages to find any relevant information without re reading all the books again.
Can anyone help me answer this Q
Why could there be differences of opinion between proffesionals in relation to allowing a patient choice about their death?( covers KS 3b)
and
How can family dynamics affect the reaction of individuals to the dying patient and how their care is managed ( ie withdrawing care, DNR decisions etc).(covers 19)
I would be grateful if someone could give me ideas or just point me in the right direction.
Thanking you in advance
Audrey
