what action would you take if you found a clients right were being infringed?
how can you help a client who cannot exercise their rights?
what are the laws and charters, which are concerned with rights and responsibilities?

Hiya teabag,
The term holistic means looking at the whole person or situation,by recognising that all parts of a persons life will have an impact on they care needs and preferences.
Look at page 184 in your health and social care level 3 book. The above was taken from it.
Will find more help there im sure .

Hi Teabag
Has your assessor not encouraged you to answer these question during or after observations? Have you had training in your care home which would have included equality and diversity in it.

Hi june,
7. This is about the differences in how people feel about things. For example you might feel comfortable seeing a client undressed and not notice that the client is embarrassed or you think that a client should be encouraged to be independent but her daughter thinks you are putting pressure on her mother - and so on.
12. How do you provide clients with the right to make choices - even those you think are not safe - whilst at the same time fulfilling your duty to keep them safe? For example, what would you do if a client wanted to loan some money to a friend but you didn't trust the friend?
13. Look at the Care Standards for your area of work and POVA
Hope that helps
