oh god im so stressed my head hurts,i just dont know how to start on this unit.I need to show that i know,understand & can apply in practice

I also have to do dilemmas between 3 a 3c 3 d and loads more in this unit.
I just cant get my head around these i dont understand any of it.hell i feel so silly ive cryed over doing this bloody course.ANY HELP would be great.

just to let u know your not alone, has ur assessor observed u doing a care plan? apparently this will class as 50% towards the unit, then u need to do a reflective account of what she/he watched u do,this covered the majority of the unit for me then there was just a few bits left to do that was covered by a discussion, talk to ur assessor

no she hasnt observed me doing a care plan i'm seeing her on tuesday so will talk about it .all she has done is given me the knowledge specifications for the whole of this unit and ticked of the ones i need to cover .might as well ticked them all truth of it.im so lost .we are wrapping odd bits up to complete the other units.just i have not done anything really on this unit.i've been told i will be finished end of dec if i keep going as we have been,but at what cost.im looking at this unit and truth of it my tummy is turning over so much ,ive not been this stressed with the others.

Teabag is right, this unit is easily covered by observation of doing a care plan or taking part in a care plan review, reflective account from you afterwards and some questions/ discussion. If you have done unit 31 then some of the knowledge regarding sharing info and confidentiality may be able to be cross referenced from that - don't be afraid to talk to your assessor, she is there to help you.

mine is almost finished to, the most stressful was the theories for human growth and development, i got so wound up i could have threw it all in the bin
ive just got the odd few bits from different units but my assessor is coming on monday and says we can finish it with a professional discussion, so fingers crossed i will be free,

Teabag is right, this unit is easily covered with observation of a care plan/care plan review, reflective account from you and some questions or discussion. If you have done unit 31 your assessor may be able to cross reference some of the evidence towards this unit
( confidentiality, sharing info etc.) Don't be afraid to speak to your assessor, she is there to help you.

have either of u done/ written a reflective account for unit 35c? if so how, explain or give me a push in the right direction thanx

This element is about how you have contibuted to protecting clients , so you need to think about a time when you have done this in the past - look at the PC's and use them as a guide to writing your account - eg PC1 - explain how you used the information availble to identify the risk ( what made you think something was wrong - persons behaviour, signs and symptoms of client, etc).

hi sunflower. i can totally sympathise with your feelings and emotions over this nvq !!
ive managed to do my accounts for most units,but im struggling big style with ref acc for unit 332.have u picked this unit as an optional one ? i did im im so regretting it now !! dont think ive got any nails left with stress n worries !!! im more nervous over this nvq then i was for my interview for a senior carer lol
hope u get yours complete in time hun.mines due for completion in feb, more likely at this rate it will be in the summer lol

Thanks i've now spoken with my assessor and put across all what you all have said & she has told me to stop stressing & we will sort it all out on tuesday.I just need it in plain english.Daft thing is i know i can do it as i deal with the care plans ect all the time.

Sorry love i didnt do unit 332 and by the sounds of it ,just as well.Know what you mean by stress .sounds like we all will be getting to the end of this bad dream soon.I'm a Care Managers Assistant & deal with assessing people in hospital /homes & making all the care plans up when needed.While i can do my job & know what i'm doing i just find it so hard to put in down into words when they dont put it in plain english what it is there asking from me.Any way i hope you manage to finish on time,but you do get a bit like is this EVER going to end .

Now i would like to thank you all for helping me in my day of stress over load.Your kind words made me as i was pulling out my hair.Just have to hope my bald patches grow back soon lol.Still its not over yet so i'm sure i'll be asking for help or even just a ear to hear me scream again.
