Q1 why is it important to correctly record activities when administering medication?
Q2 why is it important to keep up to date records of medication administered?

Think along the lines of what the information would give you ,like background knowledge for having to make decisions .Just think if the Mar sheets were not correctly signed How would you know Mrs X had her medication .Accidents could happen, over dose under dose ect.
To prevent error's and to comply within Data Protection Act and Commission for Social Care Inspection .If the correct info was not kept what might happen ,client could become unwell or die.
Hope thats of some help .
