Hi Emz, Hope I'm not going to confuse you but when I start a candidate off I don't present them with loads of questions or worksheets, in fact, I never use worksheets. I sometimes get them to do written activities that provide evidence for the knowledge and understanding part of a unit. If the candidate tells me they have poor reading or writing skills or if they are dyslexic then I don't expect them to do any written work, I will cover everything in holistic observations, verbal questioning when I write the answers they give me, discussions, (yes, you can use these at level 2 with OCR) and use of relevant training. To expect someone with dyslexia to answer loads of questions, complete worksheets and produce endless accounts is not really equality. And this is a vocational qualification not an acedemic one. Did you get a good induction from assessor, that should have helped you understand how and what evidence you need. Don't go writing loads of stuff before you see your assessor, you might be writing a lot and covering very little! Your level 2 should be pretty painless, it should be about what you do, every day at work. Good luck Steadysue |
