Hi everyone,
I'm thinking of returning to my old college to do an NVQ. APparently, I'd need to start at level 2. The thing I'm worried about it that I'll be much older than the others doing the course! How old are most people who NVQ level 2?
Thanks

I am currently assessing a soon to be 60 year old for level 3 and she is whizzing through it. Age should not even be considered a barrier.

When I worked at my old company they told me I was too old to do the NVQ2.
They just didnt want to pay out for me to do it. I then moved jobs and went to another care home and I told the manager this when she was interviewing me for the job and she said that she trains anyone from 16-60 FOR THE nvq AGE ISNT A FACTOR
Good Luck.
I am just completing my NVQ 2.
